Nurettin Eminaga
Specialist for Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie
Public Health M. Sc.
Throughout my professional journey, I have integrated an extensive medical education with diverse
international experience.
Educational Journey and International Perspectives
At Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, I established the groundwork for my medical career. A notable
chapter during this period was my study at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Oman, which afforded me
deep insights into various healthcare systems and cultural contexts..
Professional Training in Neurology and Psychiatrysychiatrie
After completing my studies, I pursued my specialist training in neurology at the St. Mauritius Therapy
Clinic in Meerbusch. There, I not only expanded my skills in patient care but also in the management of
embassy patients, enhancing my intercultural communication skills and diplomatic prowess.
My advanced training continued in the field of psychiatry and psychotherapy, initially at Elbroich Hospital in
Düsseldorf and subsequently as a senior physician at Alexius-Josef-Hospital in Neuss. I was particularly
dedicated to the introduction and application of brain stimulation techniques, such as shock wave therapy
(Neurolith®), presenting innovative treatment options for neurological and psychiatric conditions.
Academic Activity and Research
With the aim of deepening my specialized knowledge in healthcare, I completed a Master's degree in Public
Health at FOM University of Applied Sciences in Essen, graduating with the highest distinction. My master's
thesis, addressing shock wave therapy as an innovative brain stimulation technique in neuropsychiatry,
especially in the context of Alzheimer's disease, has been published and now contributes to the scientific
community.

My interest at the interface of medicine and technology also manifested in my contribution to a publication
on the use of artificial intelligence in diagnostic medicine. These professional stages reflect my continuous aspiration for
development and enhancement of patient care.

Intercultural and Technical Affinity
From an early age, I was intrigued by the intersection of communication, culture, and technology. This led to
my involvement as a volunteer translator for the KDE desktop interface Version 3 (now at Version 6), the first
of its kind to provide full support for the Arabic language.
