Please take this as an opportunity to object to your health insurance company setting up the ePA. You can do this informally.

Some health insurance companies allow you to do this with just a few clicks via their online portal.

Alternatively, you can use the objection generator created by the association ‘Das Patientenrechte und Datenschutz e.V.’ on behalf of the ‘Opt-Out Bündnis’. After entering your data, a ready-made document is created which you can forward to your health insurance company.
